    3. Hello all Some of you may have seen a letter in the Feb edition of Family Tree magazine from someone trying to find someone linked to a welsh bible that he has had or some time but it is not linked to his family and he would like to pass it on to the right people. He has sent me a scan o the page which was partially obscured in the picture in the magazine and I think I have identified the family. One of the written entries was for a grandchild Jackie who died aged 5 on Feb 16 1927 and was buried in Box cemetery. That gave me the clue that linked possibly to Llanelly and I think the family is the one shown in 1911 as 3 Delabeche St Llanelly DAVIES, David Head Married 39 Pit Helper In Steel Work Carmarthen Pencarreg DAVIES, Eleanor Wife Married 37 Carmarthen Llanllwni DAVIES, Mary Jane Daughter Single 17 Dressmaker Carmarthen Llanllwni DAVIES, David Thomas Son 14 Grocer Boy Carmarthen Llanelly Married 18 years 2 children both living. All four of these are mentioned in the bible. The family is also in Delabeche St in the 1901 census. I think I found a possible marriage that points to the wife as Eleanor Jones born Llanllwni. Do any of you have a link to this family at all? Cheers Pat -- pat

    3. Hi, I did not see the Family Tree magazine with this. Do you know if there are any older family members listed or other surnames? Thanks! 3. Hello Mona The only other name on the page was William David Hopkins born 2nd April (I think 1894 - it's not clear) and died Aug 4th 1965. When you say "older" do you mean nearer current day or more in the past? I.e. the parents and family of David Davies and Eleanor Jones? Do you think you may have a connection?
