    3. Hi List, Having found my ancestors gravestone in Llanegawd church after they had cleared the brambles this year, I need help in translation as I am ashamed to say although born in Wales, I cannot speak welsh nor translate. It was quite overgrown with ivy & lichen, but I managed to decipher the following: Simon Jones New Lodge Allterferin . Bufarw rhag 28 1899 Yn 70 Mlwyddoed Hefyd Am Mary Ei [or could be L.] Wraig Bufarw Medi 11 1922. Yn 79 Mlwyddoed. This is as much as I could see unfortunately, it was very difficult to get any more info from the stone, does anyone have an idea how to clean the stone to make it easier to read? Thanking you for your time. Regards Jackie from East Sussex. The only way to look into the future, Is by standing on the shoulders of the past.
