I am researching the ISAAC Family of Llanwrda/Llansadwrn James ISAAC married Margaret Thomas 6/9/1835 I have found information that James Isaac 72 years died 1876, Margaret Isaac 85 years died 1902. which bears out with Free BMD information. There is information that James and Margaret died at Llansadwrn and are buried in Llanwrda Churchyard and there is a headstone. Can anyone help or advise where I go to find out the dates of death & burial, and possibly a photograph of the Headstone. Robin - Mardi, Australia

Hi Pauline Well I saw Box cemetery on the page in the magazine and thought there was a good chance it was LLanelly so I wanted to have a go. I do hope someone finds a link. We are both fine here although the cold weather is not agreeing with my "old bones". I'm looking forward to the spring. 3. Hello Mona The only other name on the page was William David Hopkins born 2nd April (I think 1894 - it's not clear) and died Aug 4th 1965. When you say "older" do you mean nearer current day or more in the past? I.e. the parents and family of David Davies and Eleanor Jones? Do you think you may have a connection? 3. HI Elwyn Not all are on the Adulum chapel CDRom......they are only shown if the headstone was upright or ligible.....if they did not have a headstone, again they will not be there.......and as you know the earlier stones were removed and is now a car park!! They were married at Adulam. As they left Felinfoel and went to live in Dafen I presume that they will be buried there, as I could not find them on the Adulam CDrom. He has sent me a scan o the page which was partially obscured in the picture in the magazine and I think I have identified the family. One of the written entries was for a grandchild Jackie who died aged 5 on Feb 16 1927 and was buried in Box cemetery. That gave me the clue that linked possibly to Llanelly and I think the family is the one shown in 1911 as 3 Delabeche St Llanelly DAVIES, David Head Married 39 Pit Helper In Steel Work Carmarthen Pencarreg DAVIES, Eleanor Wife Married 37 Carmarthen Llanllwni DAVIES, Mary Jane Daughter Single 17 Dressmaker Carmarthen Llanllwni DAVIES, David Thomas Son 14 Grocer Boy Carmarthen Llanelly Married 18 years 2 children both living. All four of these are mentioned in the bible. The family is also in Delabeche St in the 1901 census. I think I found a possible marriage that points to the wife as Eleanor Jones born Llanllwni. Do any of you have a link to this family at all?
