    3. Hi Trevor I have the children David, Elizabeth and John on my database. (baptised Llangynin & St Clears) but I have their parents as Joshua Morris and Elizabeth. Joshua was born at Cwmclyd, Llangynin and had moved to St Clears by 1851 (only 3 miles away) and was a pig drover. My line begins with his uncle Benjamin Morris. I have a fair amount of information about the Morris family of Llangynin. We still own the farm next door to Cwmclyd (although the Cwmclyd farm house no longer exists) Best wishes Anne Owen Taylor ----- Original Message ----- From: "May Tan/Trevor Gerard" <tangerard@bigpond.com.au> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 09, 2005 11:01 AM Subject: Fw: Re:[Cmn-L] Morris at Carmarthen > Hi Pauline this is the email in question > > I am in no hurry Cheers > Trevor Gerard . > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "May Tan/Trevor Gerard" <tangerard@bigpond.com.au> > To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, October 02, 2005 10:20 PM > Subject: Re:[Cmn-L] Morris at Carmarthen > > > > Hi Pauline and Listers, > > Pauline after you helped me find > > my gg grandfather Joshua Morris b1810 and his wife Elizabeth Thomas , I > > am eager to track down what happened to his children and also who were his > > parents, I know about Joshua Lewis Morris my great grand father he > > migrated to Australia in 1878 but I am desperate to find out the other > > details of Joshua Lewis Morris's siblings and alsop where the rest of the > > family went . > > > > It goes like this, > > > > Joshua Morris b 1/11/1810 Carmn m 2/9/1834 St Peters Cmn to Elizaheth > > Thomas b 1810 Daughter of James Thomas (sawyer) > > > > His Father David Morris b 5/1775? m to [Margaret Richard bap 1782/3 Carmn > > ( 1841 cens of Mary St and 1851 cens of Spurrels yard] > > > > children of David and Margaret > > > > Mary bap 3/4/1807 > > Joshua bap 1/11/1810 ( my gg grandfather) > > David bap 19/12/1813 > > Samuel bap 20/10/1816 beleive died in infancy > > Samuel b 18/7/1818 > > Margaret b24/12/1821 bap 6/51821 > > William bap 5/6/1825 > > So I am trying to find out where these people went to and also find out > > and confirm the DavidMorris and Margaret Richard aspect and who were > > Davids siblings amd parents. > > > > Once I have sorted this out I can then research or ask for assistance to > > research my ggrandfathers siblings ( Joshua Lewis Morris ) > > > > He was bapt 21/3/1840? 3. Hi Ray The request for the marriage certificate is in the post (Sat 5..soon after we communicated..I used your registration no) I don't know how long it will take to get a reply..( if Dublin is anything to go by it'll be 6-8 weeks!) One query, In my rush to post the form, I authorised the cost as $24.50. After I'd posted it I re-read the instructions and saw that that was GST exempt. Is this the same as our VAT and are they likely to send the certificate ..any ideas? Thanks so much for promising to look up the couple in later life. I suppose with no census returns the death certs are the most likely option? Thanks again Margaret. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Edmunds" <Wattle@iprimus.com.au> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 09, 2005 5:30 AM Subject: Re: [Cmn-L] Queensland BDM > Hi Margaret, > I'll have a look next Sunday. > I don't mind doing lookups because people do them for me. 2. Bernard
    3. Do the Archives store photographs as well as other documents ? I have an original photograph of Brynaman Board School taken in 1897 - the school opened in 1896. It is of 44 pupils plus Headmaster (?) and Teacher (?). I feel that it would be a shame to see the photo lost with time now that it is back in Brynaman. It scans nicely onto an A4 sheet Bernard
