Winnie: According to the book "History of the Carlock Family", by Marion Pomeroy CARLOCK, 1929, page 598, Job "emigrated with his family and brothers from Va. to Tenn. about 1803." Since his eldest child was born in 1799, he must have married his first wife, Sarah MCDONALD, in Virginia. Also according to the same page, Job was born in Rockbridge Co. (now Smythe Co.), VA. I do not have additional information about Sarah or her ancestry at this time.
