Born Sept. 23, 1924, on Petit Jean Mountain, he was the son of the late A.A. and Lula Mae Caudell Carlock, and a farmer. He was preceded in death by a brother, J.W. Carlock; and a sister, Ruby Faye Carlock. Survivors include his wife, Adlee Garner Carlock; two daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Wayne Venable of Mayflower and Carolyn and Wayne Bookout of Dardanelle; three brothers; a sister; six grandchidren; three great-grandchidren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Petit Jean Cemetery by the Rev. True Fitch and the Rev. Wayne Bookout. Burial will be by Cornwell Funeral Service. Grandchildren and nephews will serve a pallbearers.
