I can't find any information about him in the Civil War records. I was told he was a minister before and after the War and was a soldier in the Civil War, but can't get it to connect. He was supposedly a confederate soldier and was caught by Union troops and escaped near the end of the war. He is in the David Gerlach/Carlock line>Hanschrist " John Christian" Carlock> Issac Carlock> Asahel Carlock> Lemuel Lacon Henderson Carlock. Any information is very greatly appreciated!!!!
