    2. K Haddad
    3. This is the chronology I have been able to come up with for George W. Carlock b.c. 1779, who I believe is the son of David Carlock of NC & KY. I know several of you have researched this more than I. If you have corrections or additions of DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE (not what "the book" says), please let me/us know. c. 1781: Relationship to David Carlock not proven; but George Carlock was in the same county as David and is the right age to be his son. George's father-in-law lived "3 pages away" from David Carlock in the 1810 Warren Co., KY, census (see below). 1805: Oct. 11 George Carlock & Rachel Landers married in Warren Co., KY. John Landers bondsman. Both over 21. 1810: Census of Warren County (formerly Logan and Lincoln), KY, shows the following on pg. 279, line 27. There was obviously a person in the household of an older generation than the parents. Did the census taker just look and decide this old person was a woman when s/he was actually a man? Could this older person have been John Landers, and the young couple George and Rachel Landers Carlock? 1 male 26-44 - Father John Landers or Husb. George Carlock? 1 male 1-10 - son 1 female 45+ - Grandmother/father? 1 female 26-44 - Mother? or Wife.
