It appears that Viola was Ida Viola "Viola" CARLOCK, daughter of John William CARLOCK, who was a brother to James Wesley CARLOCK and Rhoda Arena CARLOCK whom I have mentioned in related queries earlier today. William H. CARLOCK (1827 - 1865) of Walker Co., GA, father of these three individuals, appears on page 438 of the book "History of the Carlock Family", by Marion Pomeroy CARLOCK, 1929. In addition to John, James, and Rhoda, William was also the father of Martha J. CARLOCK who m. E. PITTS, Margaret E. CARLOCK who m. E. HALE, and Nancy F. CARLOCK who m. John MORRIS. I am interested in the Carlock family too. Viola Carlock, born February 28, 1883, daughter of John William Carlock and Mary Margaret Brady. She married John Albert Holbrook and had two sons before her death. She died in the Little Rock Sanitarium as did her Mother. I would like to exchange if possible.
