William Jesse CARLOCK (s/o Albert Benjamin CARLOCK, John Christian CARLOCK, Moses CARLOCK, Hanchrist "John Christian" CARLOCK, David GERLACH/CARLOCK, Hans GERLACH) appears on pages 573 and 576 of the book "History of the Carlock Family", by Marion Pomeroy CARLOCK, 1929. According to the book, William's mother was Cassie Ann DUDLEY. The book lists the following information for William: "WILLIAM JESSE CARLOCK ... b. April 15, 1876; r. Bakersfield, Calif.; m. _____. Children: 1. Evelyn, b. 1910 2. Jesse, b. 1912 3. Bettie Jane, b. 1920 4. Mary Ann, b. 1920" The book lists Bettie Jane and Mary Ann as twins.
