There is probably no connection to the person you are looking for, but I find an Avis Irene CARLOCK (child of Willard Franklin, Thomas Eber, James Calvin, "Eber", George, Frederick, David), b. 12 Nov. 1908, m. MCCURRIE, on page 627 of the book "History of the Carlock Family", by Marion Pomeroy CARLOCK, 1929. Avis's father was born in Union Co., IL. I do not find anyone else named Avis in my database at this time.
