Can anyone confirm whether or not Claude Eugene CARLOCK, Sr., listed below, was/is the son of Claude J. CARLOCK and Rosetta VANCE, as suggested by one of the subscribers to the CEARLOCK list? I have a Claude J. CARLOCK (s/o Lewis "Lewey" CARLOCK, John L. (or F.) CARLOCK, Isaac CARLOCK/CARELOCK, George W. CARLOCK/CEARLOCK, probably David CARLOCK, Frederick Cornelius CARLOCK, David GERLACH/CARLOCK, Hans GERLACH), listed in my database, but the only information I have so far about Claude J. CARLOCK comes from the following source, when Claude was 12 years old: 1930 United States Federal Census, Montgomery Co., IL, Page 54A, Line 4, ED 68-21, Sheet 7A, ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/il/montgomery/1930/ed21-brief.txt.
