I process batches of Howell and Davis surnames through DavisCorner, since Jeff Davis and Varina Howell are the main focus of DavisCorner, IN THAT I've met many people who have a Family Tale that the family is related to Jeff/Varina, just as my family does (Varina Howell) and my husband's family does (Jeff Davis) and since I'm trying to track that down myself to prove or disprove the connection I decided to set up DavisCorner.
