Hello Randy,Thanks for responding.Things I have read about William Carlile are he was from New York and arrived in SC before 1688,he owned property partly in Colleton and partly in Berkeley.I am trying to find a link to Mary Carlile,who was listed as head of household of nine people in the 1820 Berkeley census.A Nathaniel Marion appeared to be living in the same household.Also David Nathaniel Carlile and Jehu Carlile were living in the same area in 1830.(David was my g-g-grandfather).David moved to Jones Co.MS and Jehu moved to Perry Co.by 1840.Also John and William Carlisle in Horry Co.in 1800 and John's widow in 1810(she was listed as Widow).All of these people listed as Carlile and Carlisle at different times.Which of these people can you tie togather.Thanks.
