Hello! I am new to the list, wanted to introduce myself and my ancestor. I am Nancy Cason from Garland, Texas. My ancestor is John Stephen Carlile, b. MO 5 Mar 1811, d. TX 18 June1902. He was married to Martha Burrows first (m.13 Jan 1831 AR). She bore him 7 children: Thomas Green Carlile 1832 AR Charles William Carlile 1834 AR William Russell Carlile 1836 AR Sarah Ellenor Carlile 1840 AR Nancy Bedford Carlile 1842 AR Martha Emily Carlile 1843 AR Mary Jane Carlile 1846 AR After her death he married Nancy Lucas Jones, widow. They married in TX 3 Jan 1871. They had no children. I believe John's father was Thomas Green Carlile, but I have no proof. If any of these names look familiar, would like to share information.
