Finally, after much searching (and headaches) I was saved by a fellow researcher who was able to tell me the name of the only ship to have transported East Indian indentured laborers to St. Croix, Danish West Indies. On June 15, 1863, the steamship Mars (not a sail ship) arrived at Croix from Calcutta, after being on the high seas for about 3 months, with 318 indentured servants. (Another source said the total was 326). I was very excited to have received this information.
