    3. Thanks! A lot of the older vessels are being sent to the scrapyards wiith useful life still on them. Under SOLAS there will be an increase in standards in 2010 but the larger cruise ship companies are building larger vessels now that can each replace 4 or 5 boats. An older boat moored in someplace like G/T means that 1000 more beds would be in place in a matter of weeks. Blush
