This may be too specific for many, however, spent today roaming the Hell's Kitchen/Clinton area & the 9th Avenue food festival. I was tracking down specific locations given by my grandmother & other family from Barbados on Ellis Island records. Should anyone have any connections to 400 block W 46 & 47th Streets, the 300 block W 44th, the low 600's on 9th Avenue, or uptown the 400 block E 65th street and would like a picture of the area, let me know. For those with Anglican roots in the area, also have pics of St. Clement's Episcopal church on W 46th (now still a church, but also a theatre - an outreach theatre district mission of St. Thomas Episcopal church). For any "early" (we were asking about 1907-9)Anglican/ Episcopal records in Manhattan, we were told they are kept at the diocese located at the Cathedral of St John -- 1047 Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY 10025 212-316-7400 F: 212-316-7405 Lisa
