He was listed as owner of infant slave, Emily Frances, baptised in St. Philip Parish, Barbados Page 430 Baptisms 1825 July 2 owned by James Gittens, F.C.P. I am trying to get information about James Gittens in order to establish whether Emily Frances eventually became Emily Frances ROSE who married Samuel Richard EDGHILL 12 June 1856 in Christ Church, and died c 1 September 1906 in Christ Church.
