I am currently researching my great grandmother and cannot find any information whatsoever with regards to her lineage. Her name is Araminta Bertha Standards, born in St. Joseph, Barbados on June 20th 1874. I have a document which states that her mother's name is Susan Catherine Standards, from St. Elizabeth, Barbados, but there is no father listed on Araminta's birth certificate. She married my great grandfather Edward Eyre Thomas Goodman, and I have much info on his side, in addition to all of her children, but have not been able to find a shred of info on Susan Catherine Standards or her spouse/boyfriend/partner, etc., who would have been Araminta's father. If anyone has any information with regards to this family from Barbados, I would love to obtain it. Thanks so much in advance, Allison Spooner
