Hi Yvonne, I saw your note to Cathy regarding help with research in the West Indies. I wonder if you can help me or rather my wife? Her mother (Marjorie Verna McIntyre) died a year ago at the ripe old age of 99. She was born in Gouyave in Grenada in 1907. Her father, Donald Allan McIntyre, died in Gouyave in 1912, and his obituary said he was 67. So we guess he was born about 1845. We have never been able to find out where he was born. Was he born in Grenada or did he arrive from Scotland or elsewhere? I know there are McIntyres in Canada who descend from Scotland, but we have never found a link.
