Hi, I am in the process of researching my family tree and have discovered that my great-grandfather (Lebert Veitch) owned a plantation in Jamaica until his death around 1950. Has anyone researched the Veitch family in Jamaica? Regards, James Franklin

Hi James, Do you know what parish this estate was in? Have you looked at Patricia Jackson's site yet? It is at:http://jamaicanfamilysearch.com/ There are about 25 hits for Veitch on this site.
