    3. Hi Yvonne, Donald McIntyre was my uncle, my Mum's brother. So, my Mum's maiden name was McIntyre. Mum married a Wells, but we are ok with the Wells family history right now. If you re-visit the e-mail below, you will see what I said. Just for info. I'm in my late 60s, so have fond memories of visits to the family in Guoyave, because this is where Mum's two older brothers lived. In fact one of the last surviving cousins, the daughter of uncle Donald McIntyre, has just had her 90th birthday, and she lives in Canada. Hope you are having a lovely day. Here in England, we are enjoying quite a 'mild' November so far - the trees have all turned a beautiful gold/orange/yellow, just before they begin to loose their leaves, and the winter really gets going. What is the climate like where you live? 3. Good morning Maureen, Okay, I am getting the generational levels straight. SNIP: My need to know is: where my grandfather (Donald Allan McIntyre) was > born >> and who were his parents? Soooo.... Donald Allan McIntyre to Eloisa Jane Roberts are the grandparents and Donald is the namesake of his father and your uncle. whew! I don't have that information off hand. (St George Anglican Church records) LDS FHL156330 # that Daphne provided may prove to be useful. Check the Catholic Church also. In addition the phone #'s that I annotated (in an earlier email) in Grenada may provide documents on your grand parents ORRRRRR documents on your parents which might reflect information on your grandparents. Yes, I would think that your mother and uncles BC info will list the country of origin for the parents (Donald Allan McIntyre to Eloisa Jane Roberts) Try the BC # I sent. also contact the Church # that I sent. At the time I made my calls a Ms. McIntyre was in the records dept. Hmm you say you didn't have much luck with the films... which Parish where you looking in? The DeLaMotte/LaMotte/LaMothe/Belfon/Alexander surnames are our area of research. I visited Grenada for the first time last year for the funeral of my cousin Fedora Grant. As a matter of fact I was able to connect with a few 'cuzin's' that I had been trying to contact for years. I thank God I met Cisley and her daughter Edrice before Cisley pasted away. Maureen, now tell me... Eloisa Jane Roberts- your grandmother, did she have other Roberts family in Grenada or Trinidad?. I ask because of the "Roberts" information I posted last week. The weather here in NJ is mild also. we are finally getting much needed rain. I am looking forward to the return of the sun some time this afternoon. I have a photo of my oldest living relative on my desk as we speak... Fedora's mother, my aunt - Muriel LaMotte she is 94 years young and also lives in Canada. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alan Wilson Sent: Saturday, November 10, 2007 9:13 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: McIntyre family Hi Yvonne, Donald McIntyre was my uncle, my Mum's brother.
