    3. Hi Laura, Yes the Harcourts are Grey descendants (back a few centuries) the Governor George William Richard Harcourt is reported to have died unmarried. Margaret Irene Sarney whose father must have been in charge of Somerset House (I think then a disused royal residence) may have been murdered by brigands on the way to see her son but before that she married Harcourt and had at least three children then married Molyneux Shuldham (Lord Shuldham) then married John Meade the Earl of Clanwilliam (dunno how many more children she had) so she may have had a taste for adventure!
