This is to inform the list that I have relinquished moderation of the list to Chris Codrington, as I am no longer able to give it the attention it deserves. Chris, please e-mail me directly so that I can send you the login information for the list. Thank you for volunteering and I appreciate you stepping in! My e-mail address is CaribbeanKingdom at yahoo.com (replace at with @) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? M. A. Marrero, this is a note of thanks for the good service you've been to all of us on the list. And Cod, we appreciate your volunteering to continue it. Here's a suggestion for the list. Could all messages have [Caribbean-L] or something like that in square brackets at the start of the subject line? That would help in identifying and sorting these list messages. Most of the other email lists I'm on have that and it helps a lot. BTW, if any of you live in the UK and can get to London, the Hyde Park Family History Centre where I am serving as an LDS Family History Missionary has all the microfilms that the Mormon Church has ever done of Caribbean records and you are welcome to come to the Centre and use them. We have lots of patrons coming in to use them. We are located right across the street from the Science Museum on Exhibition Road just south of Hyde Park. Our website http://www.hydeparkfhc.org has details of our location, opening hours, catalogue, etc.. Elder Snow At 11:54 PM 2/19/2008, M. A. I would also like to add my vote of thanks to Monifa for all her work as co-ordinator of the Caribbean List and to welcome Chris to the position! Elder Snow, I wish I lived in London so I could visit your Family History Centre! My research is in Jamaica and I have built up a good collection of indefinite films on Jamaica at the Brampton, Ontario FHC and this is used by quite a few Jamaican researchers. Unfortunately we are experiencing long delays in receiving microfilms from Salt Lake City these days, as there seems to be quite a backlog in copying films to send out. Your patrons are very fortunate indeed! Sincerely, Dorothy ----- Original Message ----- From: Snow, Donald R.
