I found this in the Collections o the New York Historical Soceity, 1895, a will by John Moore in 1748 of New York, merchant, with connections in Philadelphia. He has sons John, Lambert, Daniel, Thomas, Charles, Richard, Stephen, and William and daughters Anne, Susanah, Frances, and Rebecca. who says his son John has died in 1748 or 1749 in Jamaica.
