    3. The book simply listed different geographic features (towns, plantations, 'mountains', bays, cays etc.) alphabetically. For each, it would give a location, latititude, longitude, elevation, nearby features, other names the place was known by. I don't recall the book having any true histories of the estates or listing any plantation numbers or owner's names (except in the rare case that it was named for an owner) Perhaps you may be more likely to get the information you want about estate histories from St. Croix Landmarks Society at Estate Whim in St. Croix (google them)- let me know what you come up with. What estates are you looking at? BTW, what is the Cronenberg map?
