Cathy, Thank you so much for the update. I went to Grenadagirls' website and posted a few notes about the following surnames : Louis LaMotte jr and Peter LaMotte, Dorabella De Cuteau who married a Preudhomme/Prudomme, Steele and Margret Alexander, Muriel Catherine LaMotte and Fedora Grant. There are several inquires posted on the site so I had a lot to choose from when responding. As a matter of fact, I had been on the site some time ago and found interesting information re the headstones i.e. Catherine Sylvia LaMotte-Stevenson daughter of Louis LaMotte Sr and wife Catherine Belfon-LaMotte. The links to the info re: '...the British Library archiving the Grenada data' is Fantastic. I am excited to ultimately see WHAT we will be able to retrieve without having to make international calls to Parishes'. Catholic church record would be very revealing. No doubt that we will be able to connect several dots with this resource by the British library. Once again thanks so much for sharing. I hope fellow researchers save this email and the valuable link to their "research file" folder. I first saw this news this week on a very useful Grenada Genealogy blog <http://grenadiangirl.wordpress.com/>, which is worth a visit.
