Hi there, I'm looking for informations on the Vanderpools(aka Van der pool, Vanderpol, Vander der pol etc) who were living in Antigua and St Kitts and Nevis in the 1700's. Martha VANDERPOOL married James Iles CHOPPIN 30 March 1790 in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. She was born in Antigua and her family also lived in St Kitts and Nevis. I am trying to trace her family back. I know she had a spinster aunt named Ann VANDERPOOL who died in St kitts in 1790, and I have her will, which Martha is mentioned in, It also mentions a lot of other nieces, nephews and great-neices and nephews, but I mostly can't link which children to which of her brothers and sisters. Ann's parents were John and Elizabeth VANDERPOOL. John died 1740. Mostly I'm trying to link Martha VANDERPOOL with her parents, but I can't narrow it down enough with the information I have. If anyone out there is researching the same family I'd love to hear from you. Clare
