Always lovely to hear from you Laura. I believe the Charles Pedder in the NY Census is Charles Leacock Pedder, son of Charles Lloyd Pedder & his wife Mary Elizabeth Leacock. The Mr. Pedder at Mt. Prospect House might be his brother, John Leacock Kortwright Pedder as I know he died in Barbados in 1933 and he owned Babb's Plantation & possibly Burnt House Plantation as well. Those are interesting leads, so they will be on my research list for a long overdue visit to Bdos & to the Museum!
