Could you view that particular Google Book? It gives some indications. Just Google "Moor's Head" + "Coat of Arms," and you'll come up with lots of differing opinons. I've seen it associated with the Island of Corsica and on another site, with Ireland, and on another site Bavaria, and on another site associated with the name Moore. There are more (pardon the pun). So I guess the question would be when and where the coat of arms appears. I'd guess one on a document from the 1700s would be authentic, while I'd tend to doubt the coats of arms sold to unsuspecting holders of that particular surname in the 1900s.
