I'm trying to find out more about my mothers side of family. My mothers name is Rita Petgrave her maiden name is Chambers. My grandmothers name was Helen Bucknor her maiden name was Campbell. My grandmother was a devoted member of the People's Progressive Relief Association and of Lucea Kirk. Interment was in the family plot in Rose Hill. Officiating was the Rev Edward Chambers. Pallbearers were her children and Mr E E Harding, Ivan Cockburn, Mr Lester Streetle and Edwin Bernard. The eulogy was given by E E Harding and the Rev Chambers preached the sermon. Mourners included superintendents of police J J Francis,Harold Stewart,L B Coley, Mr & Mrs Freckleton, Mr & Mrs L Myrie, Miss Pietric, Mrs A M Daley, Miss N V Brown, Miss H V Brown, Mr & Mrs Egbert Campbell,Mr & Mrs Rapheal Lawrence, Mr Michael Chambers, Mr & Mrs Irving Bent, Miss Sharon Wilson, Miss B Myrie, Misses Nadia and Cecile Freckleton and Messrs Jotian and John Freckleton. If anyone knows any of the above who would know more about my mothers side of family I would be really grateful.
