Hello Marg. I am pretty sure that the reference is to Barbarees Hill in St. Michael. It is my belief that the area is named after a family which is in Barbados from at least 1690, the first seemingly a John BARBARIE, though the spelling evolved over time. All BMD records up to 1930 have been microfilmed, and the films can be viewed at any LDS Family History Centre. Anything after 1930 would be at the Registry Department. If you can get to a Family History Centre you should be able to search the microfilm records yourself for the parents as their birth records should be on microfilm, now that you know the 2 parishes to concentrate on. Their marriage though may be after 1930 and that would most likely be at the Registry. Make sure to check the variant spellings of McClean, McCleen etc. Unfortunately I have nothing on either of them. I checked Lynch burials on the Barbados tombstones website and can find nothing that matches. Good luck with your search.
