I have been working on a Scottish rootsweb site for the last week or two learning sources for working in Scottish records. This rootsweb site has been so quiet. Where is everybody? Off playing in the sand and surf, I guess. I still need some sources to check for all of those hundreds of Scottish ships that landed in Wilmington,NC. Does anyone know where all of those old records would be stored if they survived at all. If they are in Raleigh, where do you think they would likely be? In the Archives or the Sect. of State's office? May I'll go on line tomorrow and find out. In the meantime, for any of those interested in working in the Scottish records, this site was recommended to me.:.: http://users.deltanet.com/~lrawlins/igi.html#intro Slainte!
