Seeking a good reference to the political and/or parish divisions in Scotland during the 19th and 18th centuries. For instance Knapdale was split into North Knapdale and South Knapdale in 1734. This is the kind of information I need to help me locate my Scots ancestors. Any suggestions? Thanks for all help offered.
