Hi from Mexico. I'm Patty Register Coleman and I receive all the Cape Fear Scots e.mail. I live in Cuernavaca, Mexico which makes it very hard to make the contacts I need to trace my family. 1. I'm looking for information on my g-g-grandfather, JOHN JAMES REGISTER. He was born in New Hanover County in 1821, shows up on the 1830, 1840 and 1850 fed. census for New Hanover. Then he marries Susannah Davis of Cumberland County and moves there. I need to find out his parents' names in order to tie in with other NC Registers. HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ME?
