I'm searching for descendants of the STEWART family who settled in Cape Fear in 1739, supposedly Patrick and bros. William and maybe Dugald, along with 3-4 other "gentlemen" and some 300 settlers. I don't some across Stewarts in much of anything from Cape Fear, s'pose they all drifted away?? I think both Patrick and Wm. were married and brought families.
