Does anyone know of an Archibald McDougal(d) who lived in Robeson Co. NC in the late 1700's and early 1800's? He had a daughter Catherine who married John Campbell and moved to Chesterfield Co. SC and later to Chambers Co. AL. Catherine died 1846-50. He also had a daughter Margaret (b. Aug. 20, 1780) who married John McDonald and moved to Neshoba Co. MS. Margaret died Dec. 1857 and is buried at the New Carolina Presb. Church. According to the "Fayetteville Observer" an Archibald McDougal(d) died 19 Sept. 1831 near St. Paul's.
