Or did she remarry (I wouldn't question this, except that it's barely a year after his death)? One of my family histories ( http://www.synthcom.com/~jdm/genealogy/mcneill.htm ) reads: "Major Jack's first wife died, and he married ____ Buchnan and had the following children by her: John B., Frank, Sallie, and Flora." Major Jack is the same as Maj. John, and Elizabeth Buchanan is obviously the same as the unknown Buchnan. Could Elizabeth have had 4 children before age 22? Yes, but how likely? Unfortunately I don't have any birth year data on these kids. I know Major Jack had a 1st wife, a McCoy. I'd love to hear from anyone researching these McNeills. Jeffrey
