Forgive my being blunt here, but if anyone is taking anything they find in the Ancestral File at the LDS site as more than fiction, then please beware. This database is nothing more than the junk a lot of inexperienced and wishful folks have entered. Yes, very occasionally the information is correct, but that is RARE. Do use anything you find in the Ancestral File as a potential clue, but hesitate to enter it into your database because it is most often no more than that stuff you put on fields to grow crops. :/ If there was only one thing I could get new researchers to understand, it would certainly be this!!!!!! That kerplunking sound you just heard was my own 2 cents dropping into the box. <G> Thanks for your attention, Betsey DeVane In a message dated 29/06/99 2:43:07 PM, bpaster@pinehurst.net writes: << On the LDS site it shows Jane McArthur (wife of Archibald Smith, Sr.) parents as ?
