Author: afinch11 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.cann/211.1.1.1.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Clifton: This is Linda Smith, a dornan/kitchen/askin descendant. We communicated several years ago, until Carol Small accused me of plagiarism of (I think) an Askin tree. As I remember, you stuck up for me but I was so shocked (and honestly hurt), I just stopped all communications with anyone. Anyway, a website that you belong to said it's your birthday today, so if that's correct, Happy Birthday! Anyway I want to tell you that I found something very interesting, a possible death record for an Eleanor Borrowdale, wife of Isaac Kitchen dying in Canada. I very rarely put anything related to genealogy out in public anymore, so e-mail me at cookietra1nor@yahoo.com and we'll talk. I still cant find a definite marriage partner for my John c1798 son of Thomas c1765 they are born/bap st Michael Lyng. I married John c1798 to Mary Hatton but I then changed my mind. That line does connect to my tree further on though if you see what I mean. Coming down that line to daughter Mary Ann Cann c1821 had daughter Charlotte c1837 Charlotte married Benjamin Bass c1835 Son Alban c1862 had Florence c1894 she married Percy Skitmore c1886 Daughter Marjory Skitmore married Herbert J Patrick I then go back to Herberts father Horace Patrick c1887 then his father Dennis c1839.Dennis married Mary King sister of Martha King who married Adam Cann. I do have my tree on here with most of my tree on but I tend to update my tree on Genes more. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Their son Thomas Cann was born 16/1/1606, Sandford, Crediton, Devon. None of them appear to be related to Plymouth or Okhampstead Cann's and do not appear to move further than Exeter before emigrating to London & Australia.
