    3. I found several marriages and more children. Also they lived in Morgan County and Sangamon County, as well as in Virden, MacOupin County, Illinois. I did not take time to prove any of this. Much is from Ancestry (census and military records) and http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/marrsrch.html (marriage records) Mary Oldroyd married Canham in 18 Feb 1863 in Morgan County. PS: If the Canhams would share online, we could all profit from one another. I have another line going through Illinois and there are several of us back to 1590's. My Canhams lay dormant.
