My CANHAM ancestors from California. Grandma says 5 Canham brothers immigrated from England to the Great Lakes area. She mentioned Canada, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and other places, saying the boys each went in different directions. She could give no names of the five Canham brothers, nor time period, but my Canhams immigrated before 1859. She added a story about a "Lewis Canham" who was a sea pirate. I would like to hear from relatives and others who have Canham families with possible ties. .
