Thomas CANNAM/CANHAM lived in Wicken, Cambridgeshire, England. He married Ann Roper in November, 1772. Their son Thomas married Elizabeth Darkin in Wicken May 24, 1803. Their son Jonathan married Phebe BAILEY 2-1-1834 in the Parish of Wicken. She was the daughter of John BAILEY and Elizabeth WILSON GOODMAN who were married 10-29-1811 in Wicken. Phebe was born Oct. 1812. John and Phebe had nine children and moved to Morgan Co. IL in 1850. Their son Edward Charles was my grandfather. Jonathan left one son in England, James, his oldest son by his first wife Elizabeth Nixon. Her other son George, came with Jonathan to IL.
