Ginny, I haven't been able to get to the census microfilm at the Library yet, the lines are long and the machines few. But at the Genealogy Library I found a lot on the GRISBY's, but not you Calivn... The GRIGSBY's were a pioneer Napa family, so I'm sure if you contacted them directly they could put you in contact with the families also searching that name. I did find a lot of birth and cemetery records and am including them here. So at least you know there were some GRIGSBY's in Napa in the 1880's!
