Hi, I'm new to the list and am hoping someone can help me. I am looking form any information about a Lawrence JEWSBERRY/JEWSBURY/DEWSBURY or any similar spellings. He was a boatman from Leiscster, originally, however married and settle in Sutton Bonnington, Notts. Lawrence's last child was born in 1833 in Sutton Bonnington. In 1848, when his eldest daughter was born, he had not been heard of for 15 years. At sometime prior to his marriage, he had spent some time in jail for petty larceny.
