I am new to the list and although, as far as I know, I don't have any canal people in my family tree, my cousin's husband does and we try to help each other in our research. He would like to know anything anyone can tell him about the canal boats belonging to KNOWLES Coal and Iron Company of Wigan, Lancashire.
