    3. Dear Alan Looking back through old messages, I noticed your name. I have just come across a Phillis Ellen Hale of Allen's Engine, babtised on 3 November 1901 on the Floating Church in Holme Parish. This lady was on a list in a small book called The Fenland Ark by John Bennett. Emily Allen, harmonium player, is also mentioned.Let me know if you want to know more about the book. Possibly this is a red herring but perhaps not!
