Hi Adrian, Sorry I can'thelp further with your names, but I remember that a Mr Cheetham was lengthman from Office Lock which was the end of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, to Horsforth about 40 years ago. He lived at the Office Lock-House He had a brother who was also employed on the canal, and used to make rope fenders for the boaters. Both were Inland Waterways Association members After he died we lost contact with his family.
