If you have any knowledge of people by the name of GOVER or MURFIN using the Cromford Canal at any time I should be most interested to receive it . I have done the Cromford area already and you will find any names is the archives of the site. If you haven't got the 1881 census, I can look through my database and send them to you, but I understand that you are not interested in actual boatmen. I have a note of a J.GLOVER Boat no 1258. Permit Nos 480 & 634.Year 1841 also a T.GLOVER (Gauge No 520 Year 1812, status M. also J.MURFIN Gauge Nos. 365,520 and 1760 , who passed through the Cromford Canal in 1807/1812 & 1814 respectively. I am quite desperate to know the Christian names of these people and if you can help I shall be most grateful Happy New Year, Thelma
